Do you love the way ACRE looks raw and unfinished? So do we! However, we strongly recommend applying a water-based, protective finish to ACRE to help keep ACRE from attracting dirt, stains or fading from excessive UV light exposure.
We have worked with PPG to develop “Laurel” as part of our Signature Stain series of stain coatings formulated specifically for use on ACRE. We highly recommend this finish for achieving the natural look of ACRE.

We also have some approved clear-coat sealers you can purchase off the shelf. For information regarding the warranty for coatings, please contact the coatings manufacturer.
Note: Applying clear coats can slightly darken the appearance of ACRE. Be sure to test before applying.
